How long does it take to get rid of mice or rats?
For mice, you'll typically see activity drop dramatically within the first 1–2 weeks. For roof rats, allow 2–4 weeks because of attic placement and tree-pressure factors. Complete elimination — meaning no new activity on monitoring traps — usually takes 30–60 days. Then we transition to maintenance to keep them out.
Will I have to leave my house during treatment?
No. Our interior work is trapping (no surface sprays), and the only chemicals used are inside tamper-resistant bait stations or sealants — neither of which affect the air or surfaces in your home. You and your pets stay home during and after every visit.
Will mice in the walls die and smell?
It's a real risk if rodents have already moved into wall voids before treatment starts. We minimize this by using snap traps where possible (you can remove the body) and limiting interior bait to specific situations.
